On August 4th, we gather with full hearts to remember, celebrate, and honor our beloved son Quincy, for his 2nd birthday. Though Quincy is no longer with us, we cherish the memories of the boundless love we would have showered upon him and the joy of spoiling him with all the gifts he so richly deserved.

Those who knew Quincy were touched by his incredible strength, curiosity, kindness, and loving spirit. He had a way of bringing light and love into the lives of everyone he met, even without words. We are certain that Quincy would want to give back to the amazing people who supported him and our family throughout his journey.

To honor his memory and celebrate his special day, we are once again donating gifts and supplies to OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital—this is our second year organizing this fundraiser, and it has quickly become a treasured tradition for our family. What began as a heartfelt gesture has grown into something truly meaningful, and with your support, we hope to continue expanding this experience year after year.

This year, as part of our ongoing efforts to honor Quincy’s memory and share his joyful spirit, we’re collecting baby and infant Halloween costumes to donate to OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. Halloween was one of Quincy’s favorite times of year, he absolutely lit up when he dressed up and celebrated with family. Though he was small, he embraced every moment with wonder, joy, and imagination.

In his honor, we want to help bring that same joy to other little ones spending Halloween in the hospital. These costumes will give families a chance to celebrate, take sweet photos, and create joyful memories during a time that can otherwise feel heavy or uncertain. Whether it’s a snuggly pumpkin, a tiny superhero, or a cozy animal onesie, your donation can help brighten a child’s day.
